green thumb gal dreaming of the farm life I am a nature girl with a green thumb and a love for the outdoors. I can imagine no better life than living sparely in a small cottage in the woods somewhere, or on a small bit of land, working the soil, planting, harvesting, cooking, baking, canning, chopping wood, and building my own furniture and replacing the tiles on my own roof. I am an artist and a baker, and thoroughly enjoy working with my hands. I am not macggiver, but I am a clever and creative problem solver, and very big on DIY--if I can make it myself (and I usually can), I will not buy it. I enjoy peace and quiet and challenging work, but I am also friendly and good-natured. I get along best with folks who are mellow and kind.
